This year I’ve committed to a couple personal projects that spoke to me. Projects to help me grow and inspire me to create something new. One of those projects is the One Kid, One Roll, Once a Month film project. Every month I will feature a short photo essay about one of my children that was shot on film.
This is September: Your first pair of glasses.

Looking smart and oh, so happy with them! I love how you document these special milestones, Kristin!
Oh, she looks so beautiful in these! And happy about them too, right? At least I think so? 😉 I desperately wanted glasses when I was about her age, so I would have been thrilled with this development! And that picture with her funny face and eyes looking up over the top of the frames? Best ever!
What a beautiful series and celebration of your girl! Love her smile and that light. Ah! Gorgeous!
Oh. my. goodness! She looks so good in those glasses! And your captures, angles, details down to her fun striped shirt are just perfect!! I had to start wearing glasses when I was in 2nd grade and was the ONLY kid in class who had them. I love that you documented this for her so she can see how she truly rocks them!

What a fantastic spot with gorgeous light– and how cute is she in those new glasses? These are so fun, Kristin!
